Planning Matters

Feering Planning Committee discusses all planning applications made in Feering, and those in neighbouring parishes which may affect Feering, at their fortnightly Friday morning meetings. Members of the public are always welcome to attend.

Details of past and present planning applications can be accessed via the Braintree District Council web site, via the View Applications External Link.

In addition to local planning applications, the Planning Committee also has to consider and review District and National Planning Policy initiatives, which may ultimately impact Feering

Update to Proposed Expansion at Tiptree Jam Factory - 11th May 2012

Feering Parish Council (FPC) wrote to Colchester Borough Council (CBC) raising concerns about their promotion and support of the proposed development of 250+ houses in Tiptree in order to aid expansion of Wilkin & Sons factory operations.  This letter together with the response from CBC is now attached.
