Open Gardens
Open Gardens - June 2011
On Sunday 19th June Feering gardeners opened their gardens to the public.
The organisers would like to thank all those who opened their gardens for the time and effort which they put into the event. The harsh winter and lack of rain during May made the preparation of the gardens that much more challenging.
The weather on the day could have been better, but the occasional showers did not put off the more ardent garden lovers who visited. Two gardens provided refreshments which judging by the comments made was much welcomed.
Anne Bonney
The FCA would like to thank Anne and her colleagues for arranging the Open Gardens event and are pleased to report that £300 was raised on the day. A huge thank you to those who opened their gardens and provided tea and cakes during the day.
